Ethan looked at his monitor as the executive passenger manifest finally loaded. On the master screen, the old man’s profile glowed with highest-tier status: Arthur Vance — Founder & Majority Shareholder, Vance International Airlines.
The regional director turned toward Richard, his tone icy cold:
"Mr. Sterling, you are flying on a complimentary corporate partner voucher issued by Chairman Vance’s holding company. In light of your abusive conduct toward our passengers and staff, your first-class ticket is voided, and your corporate travel privileges are permanently revoked across our global alliance."
Richard’s boarding pass was clipped and canceled on the spot as security escorted the disgraced executive out of the priority line.
Chairman Vance turned to Ethan, placing a warm hand on the young concierge’s desk.
"You treated an old stranger with respect when others saw only worn clothes," Chairman Vance said with a warm smile. "Starting next month, your flight training scholarship is fully funded, Ethan."
As Chairman Vance walked down the jetway alongside his son into the aircraft cabin, Ethan smiled proudly, knowing that true class is never defined by a suit, but by the kindness shown to others.
