THE GLASS PENTHOUSE CRUELTY
Chapter I: The Silver Club and the White Marble
The penthouse above the city was designed as a sanctuary of minimalist luxury—floor-to-ceiling glass panels overlooking the skyline, pristine white Italian marble, and custom designer furniture. But behind the serene architectural grandeur, the living room echoed with violent impacts and stifled sobs.
Vanessa Vance, dressed in an immaculate halter-neck ivory jumpsuit with sleek hair framing her sharp features, gripped a heavy titanium golf club with both hands. Her face was twisted into a mask of pure malice.
"Worthless parasites!" Vanessa snarled, her voice sharp and unhinged.
With full force, she brought the metal club down once, twice, striking the huddled figures on the floor.
Shielding the tiny four-year-old girl with her entire body was Maya, the live-in nanny. Maya was hunched over on her knees, taking every brutal blow across her back and shoulders, her hands wrapped tightly around the shivering child.
