The legendary, reclusive multi-billionaire founder, owner of the entire skyscraper, and majority shareholder of the global financial empire—standing before him in work boots.

Chairman Vance slowly folded the antenna of his satellite phone and tucked it into his jacket, fixing his piercing gaze on the trembling vice president.

"You told me the director doesn't meet with 'people like me,'" Chairman Vance said, his voice echoing through the silent hall like thunder. "You forgot that thirty years ago, I built this entire company from nothing while wearing clothes just like these."

Vance turned toward the Chief Legal Officer.

"Strip Jonathan Sterling of his title, void his golden parachute, and have private security escort him off the premises immediately. If he ever steps foot on any Vance property again, have him arrested for trespass."

Sterling collapsed onto his knees, weeping and pleading for mercy as two armed security officers dragged him toward the revolving doors in total disgrace.

Chairman Vance then walked over to the podium where Maya stood in breathless shock. He reached out, gently tapping her desk with a warm, approving smile.

"You risked your livelihood today to show basic decency to a man who appeared to have nothing," Chairman Vance said with profound warmth. "Starting Monday, you are appointed Executive Director of Corporate Relations, with your office on the sixtieth floor right next to mine."

As the entire lobby erupted into thunderous applause, Chairman Vance walked toward the private gold elevator, proving once and for all that true dignity and integrity always triumph over hollow arrogance.
