"You run an establishment in my name," Chairman Madden said, his voice echoing through the street with devastating power. "Yet you throw out the hungry, mock the poor, and fire the only employee who represents the true heart of this company."
Madden looked at his Chief Legal Counsel.
"Terminate Richard Vance's management contract immediately. Revoke his equity shares, bar him from every Madden property nationwide, and have security escort him off the block."
Richard collapsed against the brick wall, weeping in complete disgrace as security guards seized his arms, leading him away into the downpour.
Chairman Madden then turned to Clara, who stood wide-eyed and trembling in disbelief. The billionaire’s stern expression melted into a warm, paternal smile as he took her hands.
"I built this entire empire forty years ago so that no person would ever have to go hungry on the streets," Chairman Madden said with deep emotion. "Today, you gave up your own food and your livelihood to feed a stranger."
The attorney handed Chairman Madden the sealed legal folio. Madden signed the document on the hood of the town car and handed the gold-embossed deed directly to Clara.
"Starting tonight, you are appointed Chief Executive of the Madden Community Foundation, and this flagship restaurant belongs fully to you."
Tears of joy streamed down Clara's face as the patrons and staff inside the bistro applauded through the glass, proving once and for all that true kindness is the greatest legacy on earth.
