Toby reached into his cleaning cart, uncapped a fresh bottle of water, and gently held it to the old man's trembling lips.
The elderly traveler took several deep, desperate sips, looking up into Toby’s determined eyes with heartfelt relief: "Thank you..."

Supervisor Croft stepped between them, his face darkening with authoritarian disgust as he glared down at the seated man before pointing an accusing finger at Toby.
"You abandon your assigned post to attend to a loiterer on company time," Croft sneered, stepping aggressively into Toby's personal space. "You're suspended. Surrender your badge and report to HR for termination."
Toby stood up slowly, looking at the dozens of commuters who had stopped in their tracks to watch. He held his head high, refusing to show regret.
"He needed help, Mr. Croft."
"I don't care about your excuses," Croft snapped. "You're done in this terminal."
