Brenda scoffed, tossing her blonde hair back with haughty arrogance:
"Then maybe you'll finally learn to follow the rules."
Chapter II: The Eye on the Ceiling
Marcus stared at Brenda for a second. His furious expression suddenly shifted.
He glanced upward toward the garage ceiling joint.
Mounted directly beside the dual floodlights was a commercial-grade, 360-degree dome security camera, its blue status light pulsing steadily as it recorded high-definition audio and video directly to an off-site cloud server.
A slow, chilling smile spread across Marcus’s face. He crossed his arms over his chest, his posture completely relaxed.
"Go ahead," Marcus said calmly, gesturing toward the dented hood. "Hit it again."
Brenda’s brow furrowed in momentary confusion, but before she could lift the sledgehammer for another blow, heavy, frantic footsteps pounded into the garage bay.
"Back the hell away from my wife!"
