“Not again.”
I looked at Moose.
He looked at me.
Because those two words meant one thing.
This wasn't Tyler's first prank.
And judging by his mother's terrified expression…
it wasn't even the worst thing he had done.

Nobody spoke after Tyler’s mother whispered those two words.

“Not again.”

Hank looked at her.

“What do you mean, not again?”

The woman lowered her hands.

Her name was Rebecca.

She looked exhausted.

“I’m sorry,” she said. “My son has been doing these stunts for months.”

Tyler immediately shook his head.

“Mom, stop.”

“No.”

Rebecca looked at the bikers.

“He keeps creating dangerous situations because he wants people to react. He thinks outrage means attention.”

Tyler stared at the ground.

Moose crossed his arms.

“So you knew he was doing this?”

“I knew about the videos,” Rebecca said. “I didn’t know he would do this.”

The state trooper asked Tyler to explain exactly what happened.

At first, he kept calling it a prank.

Then the trooper showed him the footage.

The video clearly showed Tyler painting the motorcycles while the bikers were inside the diner.

It also showed something else.

Before leaving the motorcycles, Tyler had deliberately positioned his camera near the parking lot.

He had been waiting for a confrontation.

Hank looked at him.

“You wanted us to attack you.”

Tyler finally nodded.

“Yes.”

“Why?”
