Officer Vance stepped forward, gesturing with both hands to keep the peace.

"Step away from it and prove this property belongs to you," Officer Vance requested firmly.

Chapter II: The Purple Binder

Maya didn’t flinch. She opened the purple binder, flipping past meticulously tabbed color dividers to reveal crisp, stamped municipal certificates and notarized financial statements.

Pointing a steady finger at the embossed gold seal on the top page, Maya looked directly at the officers.

"The deed, permits, and twelve years of payments are all here," Maya stated with unwavering clarity.

Victoria let out a shrill, mocking scoff, crossing her arms tightly over her chest and glaring with pure contempt.

"She fabricated those records!" Victoria sneered loudly. "Do not let her fool you! This parcel was designated as an auxiliary drainage easement under the master community charter! Her private pool is an unauthorized, unpermitted encroachment, and the board has ordered an immediate criminal eviction!"
