Victoria frowned.
"What problem?"
"Someone changed the boarding status this morning. Olivia's reservation was marked as canceled, even though the original confirmation is still in the system."
Everyone looked at Richard.
He quickly raised his hands.
"I didn't change anything! I had nothing to do with that."
The operations manager checked the system's audit history.
"Captain Hayes, your employee account accessed the passenger record forty minutes before Miss Bennett arrived."
Richard stepped backward.
"That's impossible."
The manager continued examining the records.
Then he discovered another troubling detail. Several other passengers had been marked as ineligible for boarding shortly before their flights, despite having confirmed reservations.
Some had filed complaints. Others had simply left the airport after being told there was a problem.
Victoria's expression grew serious.
"How many?"
The manager looked at his screen.
"At least eleven cases in the last six months require further investigation."
Victoria turned toward her legal director, who had just arrived.
"I want every relevant record preserved. Nobody deletes anything. We will investigate each complaint fairly."
Richard suddenly became angry.
"This is a setup! Someone is trying to frame me!"
