Olivia looked at it curiously.

"What's this?"

"The keys to your new office."

Olivia laughed.

"Mom, I haven't even started working here properly."

"I know. And you won't be running the entire company tomorrow. You'll begin with the passenger-experience division, work with the team, and learn every part of the operation."

Olivia smiled.

"That's exactly what I wanted."

Months passed.

The company introduced its new passenger-care procedures, and Olivia continued working with employees to improve the travel experience. She spent time at terminals, spoke with passengers, and listened to ground staff who had previously felt ignored.

One afternoon, she returned to the same private terminal where the incident had happened.

The stairs of the aircraft were still there.

The same stretch of tarmac shimmered under the afternoon sun.

But this time, a young woman in an inexpensive dress was standing near the boarding desk, looking worried because she couldn't find her reservation.

A staff member patiently helped her retrieve it.

Olivia watched the interaction from a short distance away.

The woman smiled with relief and thanked the employee.

Olivia smiled, too.

Her mother approached and stood beside her.

"Thinking about that day?"

Olivia nodded.

"Yes. I used to think getting on that aircraft would prove that I belonged there."
