She continued serving.

No reason to mention any of it.

The dinner approached the main course.

The billionaire became impatient with the pace.

He checked his watch.

Then decided, apparently, that the evening needed entertainment.

He looked toward the Black waitress.

“Come here.”

She stepped closer.

“Yes, sir?”

He closed the English menu.

Then opened the Russian one.

He turned toward his guests.

In English:

“Let’s see how authentic the Russian restaurant really is.”

One American executive laughed uncertainly.

The waitress sensed trouble.

The billionaire looked directly at her.

Then switched to rapid Russian.

Not slow service Russian.

Not simple ordering.

He deliberately accelerated.

“Икра осетровая, но не та, которую вы подаете туристам. Строганина без лишней соли. Борщ без сметаны, укроп отдельно. Водку охладить, но не замораживать. Рыбу — без масла. И принесите хлеб только после супа.”

Sturgeon caviar, but not the kind you serve tourists. Stroganina without excess salt. Borscht without sour cream, dill separately. Chill the vodka but do not freeze it. Fish without butter. Bring bread only after the soup.

The waitress listened.

The Russian executives looked toward her.

She nodded once.

“Certainly.”

The billionaire’s mouth twitched.

Then he added, even faster:

“И если она запомнит хотя бы половину, я оставлю чаевые.”

And if she remembers even half, I will leave a tip.

A few people smiled.

The waitress remained still.

Then, as she turned to go, he added to the CFO:

“Скорее всего, побежит на кухню плакать и просить кого-нибудь перевести.”

She’ll probably run to the kitchen crying and ask someone to translate.

That was the line.

Not because it was worse than everything else he had said.

Because he wanted her to hear sound without meaning.

He wanted language itself to become part of the humiliation.

He had decided that her ignorance was entertainment.

The waitress stopped.

Slowly, she turned back.

The table quieted.

She looked directly at him.

Then replied in flawless Russian.

“Я всё запомнила. Икра осетровая, строганина без лишней соли, борщ без сметаны, укроп отдельно, водка охлажденная, но не замороженная, рыба без масла, хлеб после супа.”
