Daniel watched twice.
"She knew what she was looking for."
Claire nodded.
They continued.
Evelyn's assistant arrived and handed her another sheet of paper.
Evelyn looked at it.
Her expression changed.
Then she folded the paper and placed it inside her clipboard.
Claire paused the video.
"That's important."
"Why?"
"Because she appears to have discovered something before the contractor finished the job."
Daniel replayed the moment.
After receiving the second document, Evelyn no longer looked confident.
Yet she still told the contractor to continue.
Daniel stared at the screen.
"She knew the order was wrong."
Claire nodded.
"And she told him to proceed anyway."
The issue was no longer just a clerical error.
